Ele abriga uma s\u00e9rie de macacos da esp\u00e9cie <em>Rhesus<\/em>, conhecidos por ter o fator Rh do sangue identificado. A primeira col\u00f4nia de primatas que habitou o macac\u00e1rio veio da \u00cdndia e chegou ao Butantan em 1929. Vale lembrar que o Butantan atende todas as normas de bem-estar e princ\u00edpios \u00e9ticos para manter os animais em cativeiro por um per\u00edodo m\u00e9dio de 30 anos.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Visitas ao macac\u00e1rio do Instituto Butantan<\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O macac\u00e1rio fica localizado no <strong>Parque do Butantan<\/strong> e divide o espa\u00e7o com outras atra\u00e7\u00f5es como o Museu Biol\u00f3gico, o Museu de Microbiologia e o Serpent\u00e1rio. Diferentemente dos museus, voc\u00ea n\u00e3o precisa pagar ingresso para conhecer o habitat dos macacos Rhesus.
